Located in the historic Portland West End, this long-time client had been planning this kitchen renovation for a number of years. The original kitchen was cramped and poorly designed for the family’s needs. With some creative use of space and minor structural changes, Warren Construction Group was able to claim an unused area behind a wall for recessing cabinets and by relocate the entrance to a powder room to a different wall in the adjoining mudroom.

New cabinets and appliances were selected that better utilized the space, such as a wall oven and built in refrigerator. The combination of custom painted cabinets, new windows, new lighting and the use of white tile, gave new life to the previously dark kitchen to a well deserving cook. Useful cabinets, a large island with storage, and built in appliances were selected to better utilize the space.
