Due to the meticulous efforts of the Warren Construction Group team, Maine Coast Waldorf School has been awarded two energy efficiency certifications. A Maine Advanced Building certification award by Efficiency Maine and PHIUS+ 2015 Passive House certification (Passive House Institute of the United States), one of the highest voluntary energy efficiency standards in the world. To date this is the only passive house high school in the United States certified through PHIUS. Warren Construction Group began constructing the high school in 2016, a beautifully constructed, energy efficient, net zero building which will serve the Waldorf community for years to come.
