Innovation, Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Science – Creating a Makerspace
Gould Academy’s Makerspace located in Hanscom Hall is not your run of the mill class room. The ground floor is divided into innovative working spaces which allow the students to collaboratively work and learn. It encourages students to design, experiment, and invent as they engage in science, engineering and tinkering.
Also known as the IDEAS Center (Innovation, Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Science) the design and layout was a collaboration between the school, Architect and Warren Construction Group. Finished in 2015 the students who have move through this unique learning space are destined to become our future thinkers, scientists and engineers.
