It was an honor to be asked to construct the second phase of renovation on Gould Academy’s main academic building, Hanscom Hall. Within an 8,500-square-foot space we collaborated with the owner and architect to construct a new bookstore, mail room, student center, restrooms, lab, and Makerspace, which is an innovative thinking space designed for collaborative problem solving. We provided new mechanical and electrical distribution systems for the entire 100-year-old building, and created two new building entrances leading to a new granite stone terrace. All of this was coordinated during the school year, while the building was in use.
